First I have to tell you something! I met up to scrap with Flower! First time we met... Now, I was nervous... but wow!! She is not only a gorgeous person inside, but outside too!! She has the most gorgeous hair I have ever seen!! LOL Kinda red, but subtle... And it's natural!! LOL Anyhow, she is super nice! And SOOOO Talented! I think I watched her work more than I worked... You would think stamping and making a card is a simple 1-2-3 process... NO! Stamping in itself is an art! I would not have the patience to ensure that the stamp turned out as perfect!! And the color of the ink... and then paper, embellies, ribbons... and then there is finding a quote!!
Just remember, you see those cards - next time, leave them a comment!! Learn to appreciate the amount of work and thought put into those masterpieces!! Stamping - card making - is a TRUE art! And a passion... I know I have found a new respect towards these artists... It isn't as simple as it looks... FLOWER - I had a great time, and next time, we will take the time to eat!! LOL
Here is a page on Jessica - again! lol
the right side of the page was cut by hand... not much too say!! Except I just LOVE this picture of my little precious Jessica!! TFL!!
I received my first kit from the CHALET!!! It is sooo gorgeous! I received tons of paper, ribbons, stickers with quotes, stickers with borders, chipboard alpha, flowers, cardstock… UNREAL!!
You have to join the CHALET!! So much fun!! Besides, if you have been reading my blog, there is a GREAT contest coming up!! $250 prize in supplies!! Let them know Vanilla sent you!! ;)
So here is my first page… I chose this theme because the quotes received referred to “home” and I wanted to have fun with it… Isn’t it true that house is home when it is filled with love – loved ones?? Hope you like this!! Quite challenging to create with someone else’s chosen supplies! Harder than you would think… LOL
Little different style for me – but I had a great time!!
Love this April Kit!! I am already on my 3rd page and 1 altered item… still have more paper to work with!! I have been on a roll… Guess it’s cause I stole my friend Jeanne’s MOJO!! LOL I will be posting more this week…
Everything is from the kit except; beads, Distress Ink (Ranger), Dominoes ("sweet home") Alcohol Inks (Ranger) and MM Rub-ons…
As some of you know, I am no longer working at Servier... This is my way of saying goodbye after years of great times with great people!!
Comme certains entre vous le savez déjà, je ne travaille plus chez Servier... Voici ma façon de dire "aurevoir"!!!
I would like to take the time to say hi to Chantal, SuSu, Jason, Igor, Roman,Carol, Nancy, Sophie, Louise - I miss all of ya!!
There will be a new contest announced at the Challet on Saturday March 16th...
Keep an eye out for the announcement of our NEW Contest starting on Saturday! This is the ONLY hint you will get: Designing Like a Star!
The Grand Prize is a $ 250.00 Gift Basket from Various Sponsors...
Make my day and leave a comment ;) Soyez gentil et laissez moi un petit mot!! ;)
Hello!!! First, I appologize for not posting much scraping stuff lately... But I recently have found my mojo and have done a whole bunch of stuff!! Here is one of my favs!
Here is a transparency I finished the other day. A little acrylic paint, some lace found at a dollar store, flowers, some rubons and a hand cut title with bling on the "i"... BTW, that's me... not Jess!! lol
To glue the lace I used the UHU Mini Glue dots in a roller I received for free! Really amazing for something transparent... and delicate!
Bonjour!!
Bises!
Have a great day!! HUGS
I wanted to try something new... So I mod podged some pink PP on the base... since it was too glossy, I then dry brushed some white acrylic paint... then added a few embelishments to finish it off... Hope you like it!
