Just thought i would share a new layout... Can you tell i love butterflies? LOL These were stamped on watercolor paper and colored in with pencils.

and i realized while using a different computer my canvas picture was really bad ~ colors are way off! A little too late... but here it is again! ;)

Woohoo! Told ya I was back!

Just thought i would share my new love... Canvas... There are many more... But here are 2 for today! ;)
The mini I showed you last post was 3x3, these are much bigger ;)

The first is 8x10 - and it is actually hanging in my dinning room! It just makes me smile!

This one is 6X12 - not quite complete, so i will probably show it to you again in the near future! :) I'm taking an online class with Christy Tomlinson called "She Art", it is super cool! Well, I love anything where you get your hands inked up and just play! LOL  I love her! Now I just need to grundge up the canvas and she's mine for keeps!

With renos and work and everythng else... Time is flying by!

I'm back!!!!!

yes - it has been a long time
yes - i am back to stay!
I ended the year by putting my 17 year old baby to sleep on December 23rd....see her size by the peach next to her? She was still "in shape" at this point.... she was about 4 pounds when I said good bye...

But started the year with a bang! in January 2011 I took part in a challenge set by Marion Smith - a video a day for the month, yup the entire month! I did it! It felt great!
It changed a lot of things inside of me... And i've decided that 2011 is and will be a better and brighter year. I can't change the past no matter how much I would want to. so... cheers to 2011!

Stampin' Up! Club Update :)

We met up on Saturday... I offered a little goodie bag, coupons and a loyalty card - a card I'm offering to all customers which can earn you free stamps!
We worked on several techniques, including emboss resist and sponging a background. We started with whisper white cardstock and reproduced the front of the bag. Hope you enjoy!

I had an amazing time Saturday and can't wait to meet up again! :)

Sad... just sad...

A very close friend of mine just loss her mommy to a sudden unexplained illness. My heart goes out to her and her family... I have cried and cried.... I always try to find reason, but this time I just can't....

Remember to love those close to you - take the time now....

Sorry for the "downer" post, but I do hope it makes you remember how precious life really is.

Quick hello!

Today has been quite the difficult day... A dear friend has given me some very sad news.... It is difficult to put such news aside and move on... you know what i mean?

anyhow... tried to scrap which really did NOT work today... Last week I made a few cards.... You can see them on my other blog - ready, set, let's stamp!

Thank you for all the wonderful emails... All is good! The simplest way to put it: One thing after the other happened, many changes, many little life stresses... but i am back!

Times are quite busy! Jess is preping for her year end show! So not much time at home these days! LOL

I have to admit I had been visiting her blog for a while now, so I was so excited!

Now, at Scrapbook Star there was a little contest going on... we were sent LOTS of items to include in our LOs..... anyhow, here is my result! (items included all flowers, all puzzle pieces, the black items, red crochet cotton, glitter...and more!)


And a last LO with Scarlet Lime Kit (December)... The lift was also done with the Kit! And trust me - all of these kits are AMAZING!!!




I thought I should also share what it is looking like here!! - they are announcing a total of 50 cm of the white stuff!! (that's almost 2 feet)
